[Guide] Rules and others

Everyone, if i may have your attention. Please take your time to read this thoroughly, as this is important on how the game works.

Without further ado, we're starting.

I. About Luminacia

The game is set in the world of Luminacia, where large countries dominate smaller ones for the sake of harvesting Hostia, a form of crystallized mana produced by the World Tree. The story follows you and the guild Ad Libitum as they investigate a countless events in Luminacia, restoring the havoc where evil doers lurks.

So, you woke up one day and found yourself and TOTALLY different world. Or that you suddenly wander into this world after stepping out the front door or something. It's your choice on how you got here, to the world of Luminacia, in the first place and its your choice whether you want to get out on not. That, right there, is the question.

The world is dying. Crops have ceased to grow properly and are being choked out by weeds, monsters have been attacking close to major cities and capitals, and many ships have failed to return to port, meaning trade routes between continents have been rendered useless. With these changes, the citizens have become restless. Some have begun blaming the cities' rulers, others have pointed fingers at the church, while a select few are convinced that these occurences are all a part of Martel's anger at having been trapped inside the Great Tree over a thousand years ago.

The members of Ad Libitum have been busy as a result. Ad Libitum is a guild stationed within a flying ship Van Eltia. The members of Ad Libitum possess special abilities and are enlisted by the people to do chores in exchange for rewards - members may deliver goods to other cities, vanquish monsters, or gather raw materials. Not just anyone can join Ad Libitum, however. You must earn the trust of your comrades and prove your worth. Bravery is only the first step.

II. Rules

1. First off, no godmodding or metagaming. Yeah, I know you’ve probably all read this in every single RP you’ve ever seen, but it’s still a good reminder. For anyone who doesn’t know what those mean:

GODMODDING is when you use your character to control the actions of another. Like when your character throws a punch and strikes his opponent's face in the same sentence. Uncool. Also if your character kisses another and slips him tongue; super uncool. You have to allow the other character time to react.

METAGAMING is when your character has knowlege that is OOC KNOWLEDGE. Namely, if you personally read something that is locked as private and unhackable, your character shouldn't know what was written there because he or she wouldn't have been able to read it. Likewise, if you are given information on an event, your character won't automatically know what the hell is going on.

2. Please, for the love of all that is holy, use proper grammar. Remember to please use the correct verb tenses, and also refrain from using really bright font all the time. It’s funny every once in a while, but not constantly. If you’re unsure of how to spell a word, check Word. It helps. Should i mention, using capital letter when it is needed? We don't care if it takes you an hour to post, we want to be able to read what you're saying without having to guess, squint my eyes, etc.

3. Hiatus should be reminded.

4. PG-13 words, or curse IS allowed. FOR AS LONG AS IT IS IN CHARACTER.

For example, we have a Flynn Scifo from Tales of Vesperia, who always keep himself calm... No necessarily for using those cursed words loudly.

And then we have Spada Belforma from Tales of Innocence, who in his life always let the curse words get out of his mouth.

Spada wrote:FUCK YOU, HASTA!

In the end, it keeps your character IC.

5. We allow OC, for as long as you can fill out the application brightly. Still,please refrain from making them some Mary Sue that is utterly perfect. However, We do not allow doubles.

6. This community is het/yaoi/yuri friendly. If you RP something out that is R-rated or higher and wish to post it, please remember to f-lock it or at least make a note of the content. If you have a problem with yaoi, yuri, or anything like that, I suggest leaving now or turning a blind eye. This is to be noted that you'll keep the character IC.

One more thing, before it turned into wars, i want the both of the attendant of the lovers to remind us that you two have agreed into making your character in relationship beforehand.

7. Please don’t start a hell of a lot of emo drama. Drama is good, yes, but only once in a while. Especially if it’s to keep people on their toes and to keep things from getting too fluff happy and boring. But not every other day, please? Too much drama gets on people’s nerves. However, there may be two characters from a fandom that just have drama between them. For example, Luke and Asch from Tales of the Abyss constantly fight. Just try to refrain from having something like “Oh no! So and so died!” every other entry.

Additionally, please try to keep your interaction beyond smut, smut and more smut. We realize that it's fun to make sexy tiem, but there's got to be more to life than that, right? Try to portray that here, as well.

8. Please keep the playercest (Playing with the two ID and interacting to one another by yourself) to the minimum.

9. Most of all, have fun. Luminacia is here for enjoyment. If it’s making you sad, angry, or upset, try to take a break. It’s not worth getting too worked up over.

10. There is no number 10

11. I'm not setting rules as to whether this is a paragraph, script, whatever styled RP. You can specify what you want, for as long as you understand the number 2 up there.

12. For dear sake... Mun =/= muse. If your character fights each other, doesn't really necessary of you in real life to fight as well.

13. There will be monthly event from mods to add more fun bandwagon here.

14. If there's no place thread to your heart liking, MAKE ONE.

15. You can only be in ONE PLACE at a time per character. You cannot be everywhere at once. So, when you post in a place, do not jump to post in another place till you done a role-play in that place.
