History:
Xion was born at the same time when Luminacia's mana are starting to run out, when people are distressed for help... Where as they believe the grant-wisher Descender would descend (no pun intended) to the ground and helped them. Yeah, voila... He is there.
He arrived just by Rubarf/Lubarf Mountain, covered in million shades of lights. That's the fateful encounter of him and Kanonno Grassvalley. Stating that he could remember nothing but his name, Kanonno implied that he ought to join Ad Libitum and have some experiences there, and he did so.
Quests later, Xion was placed in a quest with Rubia and Will to investigate the volcano. There, they found rare bugs that piqued Will's interest as a biologist and they are to collect them much to Rubia's chagrin. Yet, strange thing occurred, as they are going to get the last one, the bug died after it got fatigued but got resurrected in the next second after it got covered by a mysterious red mists.
Factually, the red mist was well-known to the villagers as a miracle, a blessing from Descender, who they actually haven't seen at all (who is Xion, by the way). But this didn't stop the Ad Libitum from finding the true benefit of it. Quest by quest, they are bound to find one related to it, and it showed it's true color.
The guild got an info that a poor soul have to be sacrificed to the Descender for that mirage. Of course, the guild didn't buy that. Xion, Cless, and Iria then left to rescue the poor man. The man was caged by a crate in the end of the hot Oasis. When Cless proceeded to open the crate, there's no more man... there's only a monster, which struggled for helps. Much to everyone's confusion, Xion approached the man, and what happened next was the true miracle. Xion's body floated, and by his two ideal hand was lights, the lights then shone on the man and returned the monster back into a normal person. That's probably when Xion first remembered that he was no ordinary person.
Along with Jade Curtiss and Ange Serena, Xion encountered Lazaris/Razalis, who hide behind a curtain, with two of her bodyguards in the Almanak Cave. Easily they kicked the poor guardian's ass, and that's when Lazaris granted them another red mist. Which turned them into a crystallized monster... for the lack of better words.
After that, Lazaris showed her figure, a face that is no different from the victims; crystallized. With a minor conversation, she leaped out, not before blowing off the Ad Libitum's sorry ass, still, leaving her two guardians helpless cringe on the floor. And just like back with Cless, Xion returned them back to human. Jade being Jade, and Ange being Ange, couldn't help but decided to take this into a material that they have to research more.
Adventures later, it was revealed by Richter and Ice-Spirit Celsius that Xion, is really the Descender. So then BLAH BLAH BLAH they go on another adventure to get someone... something that could tell them what is Descender the most, Niata. Just when they are able to create Niata, Lazaris was there to destroy Niata into pieces, and then leaves like a villain she's supposed to be. That didn't stop Xion and the others from knowing what a Descender is, though, so they repaired Niata with everyone's help.
Due to some incident, Xion have to pass part of the Descender's power to Kanonno Grassvalley, since Niata said that she's the only one capable of handling such a power beside himself. She managed to keep the power, with the result of fainting for a while. At that time as well, Lazaris was also revealed as a Descender, but from another world, Zilchia, but because of overload of the red mist from her own world, she became chaoticly insane.
Lazaris become more and more insane, she then decided to raise her world in the Luminacia. How? By replacing the world, of course. Simple; destroy Luminacia, Raise Zilch, lalala finish. This of course wasn't accepted by the guild, so they set off to settle a score with her.
After a looooong and confuuuuusing dungeon, Xion, Kanonno, and Niata goes face-to-face with Lazaris again. But yeah, differences of ideals equals fight. They fight absurdly, only to end in Lazaris' lose... Or so they thought, since Lazaris took all the power from the world that she already contaminate and evolves into Chaos Lazaris. DUM DUM DUM. Cue more fighting.
Being a protagonist? Win in the end, haha. Poor Lazaris get to die in his arms, saying that she hoped to fight alongside him if she were to be reborn, and some romantic lines as well. They were about to leave the place when they saw what already happened when Chaos Lazaris is born; main part of the world were destroyed. That was Xion's resolution to come, he have to sacrifice his Descender power along with his life. Kanonno, being someone who attached to him very much already, surely against that and suggested to find other way to do this.
Sadly, no time, as well as Xion's determination. He spoke to her as gently as he can that this is for the best, and promised her that he would get to her again later. Kanonno bought that promise, and together with Niata, she leave the dungeon in tears. Xion was glad, that he was able to do this for the world, left the world as a hero of such. (This is where i take him)
Two months later, when Kanonno was just done a quest and talking with Rocks about Xion and his promise, speaking of the devil? Xion arrived there. From the sky, falling like a meteor.Then they married and they lived happily ever after.
Personality:
Okay, Xion was never a hyper-friendly person. He only talks when he was obliged to. He rolls around the group in general without much words out from his mouth, only a gesture or two.There's no exaggerating in that. His nature is nothing but "to the point", whether it's his actions or patterns of speech, he has no interest in dillydallying with ridiculousness. Still, that doesn't stop him from addressing someone he thought that he should respect, mainly Senel, Flynn, Jade, and Kratos.
While he's not that friendly, people do approached him friendly. Of all the member, he gets along the most with Emil and Shing. As they both understand how it's feel for someone that understand what it feels to be worshiped against their will, a bad guy or not. Yeah, he hate it the most, when he became the talk of the town as the almighty Descender or what not. He just want to live as Xion, a normal person.
About girls, he's irked about them. No, he didn't hate girls, he just dislike how they would often butt-in to his love life with Kanonno, 'shipping' him with her. Speaking of Kanonno, yeah, he feels a slightly different feeling for her, he just doesn't know how to act in front of her. It was different on how he treats the higher-ups, different on how he joke around with Emil and Shing, different on how he always gives some sarcastic remarks on the girls, it was just... different. Granted, she was important for him, more important that everyone else, but whether it is romantic or not, it was not shown on his face, as he is your everyday cool guy.
Also, while he may shot some sarcastic words and become one hell of an asshole at you, he's an easy target to troll. Simply put, he's 30% troll and 70% troll'd.
Alignment: Lawful Neutral, seriously. He'll not slow down to cut down evil, but that doesn't mean he won't let his speech work it out first.
Weapon of choice: Mainly dual guns, but he could work things out with sword, dual swords, or spear.
