Kalim, the Earthly village

Kalim is a sleepy farming village adjacent to the World Tree. Located on the edge of the Eastern Continent, it's mainly known for its proximity to the world's most important tree - Luminacia's source of mana - and ability to house many foreigner without being too annoyed at them.

[Genis and Xion landed from the boat they used from Van Eltia, can't expect to move it all the way, right?]

[Xion follow stills, as he stand just behind the littler guy.]

[Genis pointed out at the sight of a middle-aged woman just by 5 houses in front of them. Genis proceed to greet her, it's up to Xion to follow him or not.]

Excuse me, are you the one posting this quest? Miss Urfia?

[The woman, who goes with the long and curly brown hair turned her head around]

Why, yes. Are you from Ad Libitum?

[Genis nodded back as he asked for more details.] Where can we get this Wheat?

Young man, Wheat is everywhere. From this town's bakery as well, i just need it quick.

I...see, then we'll be right back.

[Genis then turned to Xion with questioning look.]

[Being the calm guy he is, Xion follow Genis, kept his demeanor as hard as a stone wall as he listened to the woman's speech. Truth to be told, Xion find it hard to keep his face stoic when he listened the 'Captain-obvious' tone from her. She might be right, but... No, just no, for Xion.

Xion understand it fully well why the little genius turned to him: He have a minor disagreement with how the client act. He merely put one hand by his pocket and shrugged.]

Which one is it, then? A little adventure? Or a little expenses?

[Genis sighed.]

[No intentions to sound mocking or whatnot, he just hope it didn't come out like that. That being said, Xion grabbed his belt, where his twin guns was assigned. The next second you know is that they are already by his finger, spin around by its' semiautomatic trigger. Fast, but careful enough to not let the gun wasted a bullet.]

[The silver haired boy put his finger by his chin, a thinking position. Where? He rarely goes to dungeon, since he was all by himself of the time... At least until something clicked by his mind.]

Oh, Brownie mines should have a farm-able site.

[Gee, thanks for being so ignorant, Genis. Well... That makes his life easier though, so it's fair.]

[This time, Xion was gonna be the one to lead the way. He still remember where it is, and he knows fully well that Genis' a mage and he was supposed to be the tanker.

BRB walking by myself. Follow my steps now, squirt.]

[ARGH Damn you taller man with longer stride! Genis will follow you, trying to keep up with the pace so that he's not that far behind.]

[Genis arrived with the ten packs of wheats. Alone.

Without anymore ranting, he passed it to the client, grab the prize money, then leave with it to the guild.]

[It's night, and Xion knows fully well that this town isn't as guarded as the others.

So, he'll just chill around the outskirts, while doing an unpaid job; protecting this town in case there's a monster coming.



Besides, the winds feels nice here.]

[Hours later, Xion was out... from a bar. Looking very much unstable.]
